To all residents of Eureka and those passing through if you are subscribed to our website. School is in session and we have two school crossings, one at the Eureka Elementary and one at the High School. We are seeing residents as well as those passing through that have not been slowing down when the School Crossing Lights are on. Please, if you see the lights on, the speed limit is 20 mph through a school zone, if the Crossing Guard and/or children are in the crosswalk, you must STOP to let them cross safely, it is the law! Law Enforcement have been notified for patrol in these areas.
